Ending the siege

The coughing has almost stopped. And today, I was able to lie down and actually sleep (and truly rest!) without a soundtrack of white noise. I can breath! Deeply…

It may not sound like much, but it is reason for rejoicing because I was starting to get worried. The despair that you may never shake this fatigue and vicious cycle is truly depressing. I think the fact that it wipes you out is actually a blessing so you cannot dwell too much on it, or it would be overwhelming.

Of course, by the time I return to the office I’ll have triple the work to catch up to, but even that doesn’t seem as Olympian a task as just getting through this hump!

I'd break into a jig, but my ribs are a little sore. Minor discomfort, all things considered, though.

  1. Welcome back.

The Earth still revolves around the sun. Black is black, and white is white. Up still remains up, and down is predominantly down.

Just wanted to get you up to speed.

  2. And this season of "24" sucks, right? Or was that the drugs?
